It's Fall : What is a girl to wear?

Prim & Pattern x Violet & Eloise.
Back together again.

My friend Kaelin and I reunited after 5 months apart to take some photos for our blogs. We went to the amazing Allen Gardens in Toronto for this set of photos. You can see her's inside the gardens at the incredible succulent gardens here.

As you can see I'm wearing one of my new fall jackets from Old Navy that I blogged about last week. Because a girl has to show off her new clothes right away. Right?

Pleated Skirt & Lace Up Booties

Hey it's my friend Isabel again. I feel like you guys should get to know these people I feature on a first name basis, considering they're regulars on here now. Isabel also takes some photos of me for the blog too. And fun fact: She also photographs all the delicious pictures for Tasse D'Amour, her sister's amazing food blog!

It's Feeling a lot like Fall : Complementary Colours

Eeek. The air is crisp these days my friends. Meaning fall fashion is in full swing.  I've definitely been feeling colourful lately. So I decided I was going to pull out my amazing blue lacy skirt. When I'm in this colourful mood, it's fun to mix complementary colours.  Complementary colours- lets do a review of the three combinations: Blue and Orange, Yellow and Purple, Red and Green.  My high school art teacher told me to think of the seasons to remember these pairings. Summer, Spring, Winter.  I mean of course if you do a bright red and green combo,  you risk looking like a walking christmas present. But a burgundy and forest green could look magnificent together. So next time your feeling colourful, try and pair some complementary colours together. It pretty much guarantees a fun outfit.

Friday Favourites

Hi there. I know. I skipped my Thursday post. Whoops. It's because I've been spending so much time in Toronto because of TIFF I've fallen behind with some blog posts. But we're back to normal now, so lets get started with these favourites of mine.

1. New way to tie a Scarf

This over one shoulder, essentially a scarf sling, is amazing. I'm in love with the idea of wearing a scarf like this. Courtey of ExPress-o

Frolicking : Patternmixing

Okay. So. School is done for me now. Crazy I know. Done school forever. Well for the time being. (Who knows what I might go back for in a few years). It's weird to describe myself as an academic. But I don't know what else to call myself. I love school. And now that I'm not in school I have so much free time to read and frolic in fields, all while well dressed of course.

F.F. (Friday Favourites)

Hi again. Another Friday has come and gone and there has been a whole bunch of stuff that's made me happy yet again. So let's begin.

1. The South of France

Source | French Property

This past week my friends and I have been scheming up a way to move the the south of France and start a lifestyle blog. So naturally I have already started looking for apartments. Look at this adorable place I found! We've also all been to the south of France before, so it wouldn't be that crazy to move there since we've already done some "research". Right?

Flowy Florals

Hey. Steph's back. And she's wearing my shirt.  How rude.  I kid. I let her borrow it because I thought it would look really good with her rust coloured shorts, and how right I was.

I found a nice pair from Forever 21 that are similarly high waisted and would look cute with this top. Find them here.

Tuck or No Tuck

I know. I know. It's September already. How did that happen? And I know we're all ready to bust out our scarves, booties and cute jackets, but that's not happening any time soon. Not with this heat we've been having.  So here is my dearest friend Isabel, stylishly enjoying this summer weather.

Version 1. Tucked shirt. More of the lovely skirt is exposed.

Version 2: Untucked. Looking more casual. I can't decide what I liked better!

Okay. Maybe I liked tucked more. Thoughts?
